Membership is open to home educating families living within the state of Missouri.
Privileges of Membership
A. Participation in all CHE activities including a Graduation Ceremony.
B. An electronic monthly newsletter, and membership in the CHE Connections Yahoo Group.
C. A membership directory and Teacher ID card
D. Voting rights in the business of the organization which may be brought to the general membership from time to time.
Responsibilities of Membership
A. Abide by all By-laws, Minimum Standards of Conduct and Notices of Confidentiality at group events (see the Directory or the Yahoo Group files)
B. Participate in the planning and execution of one of the Group events.
C. Support the stated purposes of CHE
D.Share ideas and concerns with members of the CHE Board.
Guidelines for participation in CHE sponsored events/activities (code of conduct)
A. All CHE events are chaperoned by parents and students are expected to respect and comply with the parent leaders.
B. No alcohol, smoking, or drugs.
C. Good manners and respect for others through words and actions are required.
D. No cursing, rude talk, gossip, or excessive teasing.
E. No public displays of affection (PDA). CHE activities are not for match-making purposes. Our events are designed as “group” activities, not “couple” activities.
F. Respect the property where the event is taking place and clean up after yourself.
G. Dress modestly and appropriately for the event.
H. Please RSVP promptly if the event coordinator requests one. Do not show up unannounced.
Neither CHE, its leaders, its board members, nor its members are responsible for any accident(s), or injury(ies) during events.
